Kota Paradiso at San Miguel Pililla for Nature Lovers and Bikers

Our generation needs an ENTREPRENEURIAL REVOLUTION.

On the way back at San Miguel, before Bugarin, I saw this beautiful development called Kota Paradiso.  For someone who really want to enjoy healthful living, and daily practice on hill climbing, why don't you try it out here.  We know for a fact that Lance Armstrong bought a house near the Alp de Huez to practice his hill climb.

The contact person whom I met there is Leila Riomalos tel no. 0906-385-0383.  Her email address is lriomalos@yahoo.com I do not know her; I am not related to her.  I think she is selling us a product that some of us might need in the pursuit of good health and strong riding

Isn't it cute?

Real Business Ideas In Our Real Bike Ride to Real Quezon

Our generation needs an ENTREPRENEURIAL REVOLUTION.

There are numerous ideas for business entrepreneurship that I observed as we rode to real.

I saw that there is a hospital/medical center being built in earnest in Siniloan.

For buses plying the route, restaurants and pasalubong stores abound.  Here are the other images:

ORNAMENTAL PLANTS AND GARDENS

FURNITURE AND WOODCRAFT

EATERY AND RESTAURANT FOR TRAVELERS

FRESH FRUITS

DUCK AND OTHER FOWL RAISING

BASKET AND SLIPPER WEAVING FROM TIKIW PLANTS

Dont you think they make business sense?  Would you venture in any of them?  There are great opportunities along the real way... real opportunities.

Water for Upland Negrenses - Social Entrepreneurship by Aike Idzenga

Our generation needs an ENTREPRENEURIAL REVOLUTION.

Aike Idzenga, a seafarer, a Dutch and of AIDFI (Alternaternative Indigenous Development Foundation) provided water for upland farmers/residents of Negros.  They use ram pumps, pumps that use the force of flowing water to create force to drive water up, without need for motors or external prime movers.  For this, the AIDFI shall receive the Ramon Magsaysay Foundation award?.  A lot of foreign social entrepreneurs are doing a lot of work for many Filipinos who do not have access to opportunity or technology to make their life easier.

I picked this up from PDI while at Sarabia Hotel in Iloilo.

Thanks Aike.  May your tribe increase.

Virgin Coconut Oil Good Vs Alzheimer's Disease?

Our generation needs an ENTREPRENEURIAL REVOLUTION.

This is good for coconut growers in the Philippines; they need not cut the coconut trees and turn the trunk into coco lumber. According to PDI article this morning, a certain Dr. Bruce Fife from the US found the virgin coconut oil to be very good in treating alzheimer's disease, a disease of the elderly.  We know that in many parts of the world, as USA, Japan, Korea, among others, the trend is towards aging population.

The well known treatment is to prevent the onset of the disease like exercising the brain:  reading, doing a lot of puzzles.  But once the disease strikes..

The versatile coconut, the tree of life has done it again.  This news should perk up sales of VCO

The King and Erap- Models in Charismatic Leadership

Our generation needs an ENTREPRENEURIAL REVOLUTION.

This blog writes on this topic for the following reasons:  The King celebrated his 74th birthday last Aug. 20.  He would have been the king had he not been cheated in 2004?

In the earlier posts in this blog, there was a slideshare comparison of leadership and management.  Our compadre tandem of The King (Fernando Poe Jr.) and Erap (Joseph Ejercito Estrada, former President) are models in leadership.  It is now being revealed that the King won the 2004 Presidential Election. Erap continued to exercise clout in election even when in jail in Tanay.  There were constant  flow of visitors of governors, congressman and other political leaders when he was incarcerated in Tanay.

Even GMA had to give Erap pardon to remove threats from the followers of ERAP.

What makes them charismatic leaders?  What are their secrets.

Entrepreneurs need to be popular too.  They need to be popular, and so with their products and services.

Sometimes, they are made popular with their jokes.

Sample:  Disney Left

One time, the King requested Erap to go to Disneyland.  On the way though, they saw a sign "Disney Left"

Erap said.  Sooory Erap.  We can not go.  We can not see Disney anymore, coz " Disney Left"

King:   Its OK ERAP.  He might come back tomorrow.

I use this joke when we talk about ethics.  Would you go LEFT or Right.?
