There was a recent news of a factory transferring their operations elsewhere (across the Pacific?) resulting in the loss of nearly a thousand local jobs.The LGU did not approve the location of their plant. (on account of objection by nearby residents. But then again, the plant operations must have violated zoning or other local zoning regulations.
It is something to think about: saving the jobs or being right.
Think about that.
