There was a special report last night by Rom Calivo, an Exeutive Assistant for Small Business Corporation, formerly (SBGF) and she enumerated all government support for entrepreneurs: financing, business incubation, design, export, all under DTI. However, there is a growing, if not a widespread perception that the other side of govt that stifles, if not kill entrepreneurship: red tape, inefficiency, kotong. Which one is correct.?
But there was another report from Global Entrepreneurship monitor that showed Phil to be second worldwide in entrepreneurship to Peru. Are entrepreneurs growing in number inspite of the government?
