Two of the prime development in Angono Rizal were envisioned by this post.: Bloomingdale Homes and Richmond (on top of Venus compound) We did not make much on the project; the profits we had were the commercial properties in front along Quezon Avenue which became Capitol (RCBC now) bank, Puregold, (formerly Active Bank) and Unishoppe.) Houses there are in mid 7 numbers. Bloomingdale connects the church with the market. And several key commercial establishments are there: public market, Unishoppe, Jollibee, Uncle John, McDo soon...
This post also headed the planners and group that built Richmond, then envisioned to be the Ritz world for the achievers in Angono. Most were OFWs and ship captains. The buildings in front, changed the skyline of Angono. Lined up in front are Jollibee, Pizza Hut and KFC, not to mention other commercial buildings.
The above projects attracted residents from other places and made Angono their home...
We risked whatever little the family had for these projects. And they paid off. We made a little margin but mostly benefitted the community. We developed our skills and made sure we used that and the little skills we had to make Angono a better community.
Angono is now an urbanized community. And the other anchor projects would not have come here if it were not for these key projects..
Its not bad to lay a claim as to who planned and develop these projects. Thats the only reward we can reap from the hard work and the early pioneering risky works for the community. True to the vision of hte company who promoted community development for its scholarship projects, which benefitted the author
