A senior biker just like me at high hills in our town showed me docs of property in Maindanao in Compostela valley. The property happened to be owned by the wife of a former staff who now works in a Casino in this town. The bikemate happened to have a daughter in law working as a branch manager of the top Unibank in the Philippines.
At first,, I was not interested but later on found out that: 1. That the municipality is thickly populated 2. It is a first class municipality whose annual income nears 10 numbers - even bigger than the town I am now. 3. The town is where the gold rush mountain is located. It produces roughly 50% of the total precious metal output of the entire island which is 50% of the total mineral output of the Philppines (so roughly 25% of the total precious mineral output of the entire country. (This is where I heard the story before that the taxi to the mining sites are Patrol Safari.) 4. It is only 60 km north of Tagum, the banana capital of the Phl. It is not that far to Davao City.
At P8,300 per gram, x 30,000 ounces (x 25.4 gm per ounce.)
What are the opportunities: 1. mineral trading, 2. housing, lending/finance 3. our memorial business, There is new cemetery at Baylo. The site is 3 km further up at Gabanan
Several things can be opportunties: 1. precious metal business - your best bet vs. recession inflation, 2. agri food production (for survival) 3. RE - hydro or solar
