Giving up is not an option
Looking forward to the future of business
Is giving up on your mission, vision an option?
As you grow older,, sometimes you get exasperated. You are tempted to give up. But will that work.
Several years ago, an entrepreneur with 300 or so outlets quit and decided to give a hamburger type of outlets to his employees. and decided to be an employee again as a sign of generosity and good will.
However did it work?
It did not. The 300 or so outlets failed in the absence of general management, supervision direction and system.
Sometimes you need iron hand and determined leader to guide the team to victory. Nothing short of that will work.
How to handle unpleasant employees, staff
Looking forward to the future of business
While your primary goal as part of your mission is to provide jobs and employment, the actions and behavior of many do not show the gratitude for this kind of efforts:
1. Some steal;
2. Some are very selfish
3. Some can not understand;
4. Some do not obey your procedures
and is most true for those who are in officer position.
What needs to be done?
Will you leave a partner who has been most unpleasant to you?
Looking forward to the future of business
We have experienced a very difficult partner. He took us to court, changed our agreement and got the deal changed favoring him. He did not comply with his end, so we would have reverted to the old contract as provided for.
He got one of our employees to transfer to him and be the comptroller.
Unfortunately for him, the little money he got was spent on his health concerns. Lately it was for covid and he had to get a huge advance (it cost a lot to be with covid19)
There is now a new business opportunity and my board wants to leave him out. But the contract provides that we have to have him for new business opportunities.
Will you?
