Met yesterday land owner (of 10 hectare property) in a province in Mindano just renamed recently. The property is 10 hectares and sitauted in the most progressive and heavily populaed in that gold rich country. It is famous for big time and small time (cottage industry) gold miniing The gold production of the province is estimated to be 30 to 40,000 ounces annually. At P8,200 per gram (25 grams to an ounce) thats a lot of wealth.
The property owners are from this hometown and grew up here. They inherited the property from their Lolo. ( So it is ej) They are colleges. The husbank worked with us on our outfit, the wife worked with the bank I used to work. It looks like a reunion.
It could be a sale of Joint project Their asking price seem to be reasonable but if we could ask for furhter discount.
The upside is that it is near the mun cemetery which is 50% filled up (duon magsurvey?) it is 3 km further up. Baka masyadong malayo
I look forwaqrd to having more projects on the way to the site on two most progressive and populated areas in the said famous province/city.
