Every Generation/Nation Needs a Revolution? or Entrepreneurship?

Thomas Jefferson espoused that every generation needs a Revolution.  We have seen various revolutions happen in the history:   French, Russian, the great China Cultural Revolution.  But history saw how revolutions displaced the lives of many people and even exacerbated the situation which the revolution sought to fight.  Tyrants are replaced by new batch of tyrants, corrupt leaders are replaced by new batch of corrupt officials.  We see how in France, the initial revolution leaders fell victim to  their instant execution.   We see in Egypt recently how the new leaders oppressed their fellow protesters.

Outcomes of revolution being explosive can not be directed or guided.  They are largely uncontrolled.

Thus boon afflictions by Goethe.

However, the other alternative, which I sought, after I abandoned being an activist in l970s, entrepreneurship create jobs, improve products and services, create more wealth, improve economy without destroying lives and property.  The outcomes are not sudden since the efforts are directed towards opportunities, and resources are wisely used.

Compared to government reforms and legislation, entrepreneurship, entrepreneuralism is a better option.?

Our generation needs an ENTREPRENEURIAL REVOLUTION.

I read this from a Drucker book, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.  I like and am intrigued by this quote.  This is the main reason why we need entrepreneurship and innovation.

Reasons become nonsense/ Boons afflictions.
 It is nice to reflect on this.  What is trending now is not trending tomorrow.  Fossil fuel was a boon
in l85l.  Now is it is cause of global warming and climate change. Internet was a boon but brought with a lot of problems too. 


Democracy and communism made a lot of sense then.  And even capitalism.  Now they need to be modified and some new ideas and movement replace them.  Like social capitalism;  Capitalism is being criticized now and may need to be modified/replaced.


Milton Friedman, Keynes, Adam Smith were popular then.  But you now have new ideas replacing them like that of Sachs.  etc.  What was reasonable then, becomes passe.


Innovators and entrepreneurs spread the change.  They make new sense and cure afflictions.
