l. Micromarket observations
l.l The first to be compared were yogurt outlets: red mango and white hat at trinoma. They seemed to cater to sports people being situated among sporting goods store and fitnerss centers. The two establishments were at parity with the same PTM. The group went beyond observations and did a survey' ; this was challenged by the other group
1.2 Serenitea vs Happy Lemon. This was a battle between milk tea at Eastwood. Although the local firm Serenitea did slower and poorer service did better than the imported brand because they had bigger walk customers from stressed out call center workers.
l.3 Siomai comparison at MRT. The bigger servings of another siomai. and the garlic flavor made more sales. Eduards group was able to estimate huge sums of wealth being churned out by siomai outlet at the MRT. The siomai is a filling food can serve as "ulam" and at P25 it is affordable and hence is selling briskly to the DE market.
2 New Products.
The three products: one was on food and only one was named. ":Makipinoy" Part of good product design is a good name. The two others were gadget bags. They have to have name yet.
