Making a Better Elevator Pitch to Prospective Investors

In making a business plan, there is a section there called executive summary;  and part of the bp making is learning to make the elevator pitch.  This is supposed to be digitally compressed pitch of your company to a prospective investor or VCC account officer and is supposed to be delivered in a time it takes  the elevator it takes to to reach the desired floor.  More often than not this fails.

Inc suggests a better way of presenting the pitch in a socially acceptable manner, ie. make it in such a way that there is no pitch.  Suggestions for such a pitch:

l.  Position the company;

2.  Present the company in a unique way.  We make great tasting sandwhiches and we are called:
 "Which Shop."

3.  Converse with the customer or investors

4.  Ask for  further meeting.

Enough of the pitch being made in radio ads that runs 500 words a minute as the announcer
