Many pessimists see nothing but doom and gloom with the tit for tat trade war between US and China. For one US and China will not go to war. The economic stakes are so huge and only fools will go to war... Trump must make good his promise to bring jobs back to US and the war vs China trade is to force the hand of the US manufacturers who outsourced in China to come back
Unfortunately, that is not going to happen. Traders and business men will find a way to seek lower costs. All ready:
1. Some manufacturers outsourced in China are moving out to other Asian countries so that tariff will not be imposed. Some of them consider the Philippines
2. The ingenious ones are in Mexico. China exports to company in Mexico, Mexico exports to USA;
Tariff is lower.
Entrepreneurship and innovation will prevail
