Ateneo Professor on Entrepreneurship
Ever since I taught entrepreneurship at the Ateneo GSB, one of the objectives was job creation, in line with the catch phrase of Ateneo -"Our nation is our business"
And today I just read the news that NEDA wants to create more jobs. This is a good direction rather than Pres Obamas goal to support workers being laid off with unemployment benefits.
I hope this spreads; no one can save us from the economic contagion that is in Europe and US; the Taiwanese rift can affect us too.
But above all we must be self dependent; Filipinos have taken the lead in investing in our own economy. Despite lack of FDI you can see construction boom all around us.
