Social Media's Power for Fame and Infamy- The Christopher Lao story

My daughter, an SEO specialist suggested that I write on a trending topic for the day, in which case it is about the flood incident and Atty Lao.  I got the most hits yesterday.

Now I realize the power of social media.  In his case, it brought him instant fame.  If he were to run in public office, he would make it at least to the Senate (he was viewed million of  times).  A TV star once remarked, (who was at that time a subject of negative publicity, said , "negative publicity, is still a publicity"  But at the same time, his infamous comments, made him butt of jokes.

For all entrepreneurs, recognize the value of new marketing:  the buzz, viral social media marketing.  You could make your products successful without spending much. Lao is a case study.

By having a story or conversation going around, you can make anything, anybody wildly popular instantly.

Every generation needs a revolution - an ENTREPRENEURIAL REVOLUTION.
