Willingness to Change is a Strength by Jack Welch fmr CEO of GE
Our generation needs an ENTREPRENEURIAL REVOLUTION .Join
Willingness to change is a strength, even if it means plunging part of the company into total confusion for a while.
..................................... Jack Welch
Willingness to change is an entrepreneurial trait. An entrepreneur is someone who create something new. And that involves change.
Many big companies, and even government become monolith and become static. That is an invitation to disaster. Because Matshusita said the secret to success of a business is the ability to "open an umbrella when it rains".
And some sages say, that when you put a frog into a pan of boiling water, it will jump.
But some organizations are into deep difficulty, and like some plug ins in the web, crash and become unresponsive.
Change is a perpetual motion for all. The only permanent thing in the universe is change (which is a paradoxical statement.
Warren Buffet has this to say on change: "When the rate of change outside exceeds the rate of change inside, the end is in sight."
Think about it..
