Presentation at the Concepcion Carrier Airconditioning Event for Service Providers
Promoting Entrepreneurial Revolution
I did a 30 minute talk on entrepreneurship for about a hundred or so dealers, installers, and service providers partners of CCAC upon the invitation of former entrep student Norman Calub. It took place at the Acacia Hotel in Alabang. Mr. Shaun Byrne, the Aftermarket Service Director (boss of Norman) and President Jojo Concepcion were there. CCAC is number l in the Phil in the air conditioning business
Customers for Life
In my ppt presentation, I emphasized, using anecdotes, that the entrepreneurs can break of the box and be unique in conducting their business. I mentioned a car air conditioning entrepreneur June Guiala, who called his shop: Auto Aircon clinic, who lured me into his shop with free freon and free leak repair, but kept on charging P7,770.00 for every job thereafter, or benchmarking Carl Sewell who professed that every customer must be treated like a friend, and that the answer is always yes. Or providing a service unit or a loaner... Having them as customers for life....
Then for the service provider: a new method of cleaning the AC unit must be found, a less laborious of removing the window unit from its house attachment to clean it must be discovered/invented... and so on ...
That the businessmen is not automatrically an entrepreneur, that entrepreneurship is a mind set.... That the entrepreneurs innovates and thinks of something new always....
I mentioned that I did lectures for Go Negosyo too for another Concepcion.
