Religious Groups Helped a Lot in Post Ondoy Recovery
Promoting Entrepreneurial Revolution
This was a story from a candidate who lost in a recent election for LGU in Marikina City
I must be sleeping but I just learned that there was Buddhist group that helped in the rapid recovery of Marikina post Ondoy tragedy. There was this Buddhist group that included Lucio Tan who did the following:
l. They immediately fielded trucks, payloader and other heavy equipment to clear the mud and debris;
2. They paid P300.00 a day to clean your own house of dirt;
3. They supported all rehab efforts.
Post Ondoy, they exchanged blankets or other items if household collects empty plastic containers (to encourage recycling). I heard they are called chu chi (I do not know whether it is correct)
How can they manage to do this?
Who supports finance them?
How can they do this silently and without fanfare?
How can Filipinos do this?
Why do they do this?
