Syriza, new Greek premier to remove tax exemptions for shipping companies.
Ateneo Professor on Entrepreneurship
We know that there are many shipping companies that of Greek origin? Reason; they are tax exempt. There are about $l75 billion in revenue of Greek shipping that are untaxed.
Greek shippers are threatening to transfer elsewhere and this could mean a loss of 60, 000 to 200,000 jobs?
Is this patriotic move on the part of the shippers?
Is Syriza right in imposing tax?
Is this relevant to the PHL seaman (can we offer tax free haven to shippers to prop our economy?)
Is there Ji ?Wei here?
