The days of a genius CEO who sleeps only 4 hours a day, who micromanages might be over. When he is gone the organization goes down with him. A great deal of energy is done on follow up and directing individuals and teams on what to do.
Initiative, accountability must be distributed in the entire organization and succession by future leaders must be attended to. The Japanese idea of Hosen, having many minds working together is better than one brilliant mind working alone
