The days of hero CEO one man rule, micromanagement are over?
Ateneo Professor on Entrepreneurship
Repost from Smartblog by Kevin Hall | July 12, 2013
The days of a genius CEO who sleeps only 4 hours a day, who micromanages might be over. When he is gone the organization goes down with him. A great deal of energy is done on follow up and directing individuals and teams on what to do.
Initiative, accountability must be distributed in the entire organization and succession by future leaders must be attended to. The Japanese idea of Hosen, having many minds working together is better than one brilliant mind working alone
As CEO, try not to be hero
