PLDT recently honored the countries topmost entrepreneurs of the country throught htre MVP Bossing Award. The Grand MVP Bossing is the founder and chair of National Book Store Socorro Ramos. The award of course is named after the PLDT Manuel V Pangilinan. The awards aim to inspire other Filipino Entrepreneurs, and as a venue to promote PLDT products for SMEs and they are a plenty.:

Ong of CDO Foodsphere, Henry Boon Liong of SL Agritech (the inventor of SL5 high yield variety rice), Steve Benitez of Bo's Coffee, Jerome Uy of Profood International Corporation, Willy Tee Ten of Autohub, Felix Ang of CATS Motors (now the Mercedes Benz and Chrysler dealer in PH) Bobby Claudio of Toby's Sports, Joe Magsaysay of Potato Corner, Robert Trota of Maxs Restaurant, Jay Aldeguer of Islands Souvenirs, Samie Lim of Automatic Center (a fmr classmate in college)Tommany Tan of Fern C,, Arianne and RJ David of Sulit Com ph (I heard he is a townmate),Dra Vicky Belo of Belo Group, Raphael Soon of Northpark, Annabelle Wiesnewski of Discovery Shore, Dra. (I hope I got their names right. I practiced typing their names because I met 1/3 of them as guests in entrepreneurship class like Bobby Claudio, Dra Belo, Dr. Rolando Hortaleza and met many of them in entrep seminars like Henry Soon, etc.
I almost forgot Angelica Hizon of Pampanga's Best and Grace Santos. Congratulations. . Congratulations to all and more power.
The plus side of this award is that this will inspire more upcoming and aspiring entrep wannabees. But may discourage those who are faint at heart.
