Ruttikorn Vuttikorn, Toy Designer with a Social and Patriotic Mission
An Ateneo Graduate School of Business Advantage
Ruttikorn Vuttikorn, is an industrial design graduate and has been into toy design ever since. She was in and out of Thailand and did a lot of work abroad for Unesco helping in developing toys for disabled children. She was to UK, Germany, Amenia and many other places. She learned a lot in designing toys. She ended up having two companies: Club Design and Le Knot for toy manufacturing.
Her contribution to social entrepreneurship on her own were:
l Designing toys for disabled children;
2. Designing toys for Thailand that had ecological and political impact:
l. Eco games to encourage children to buy local
2. Sustainability games
3. Democracy games (in the light of having 6 premier in 5 years)
These are clearly unique and these address the economic, social and political problems of Thailand. It having fun and being serious in the mission
She made a lot of toys using wood and paper so that they are affordable in Thailand
