There were three remarkable social entrepreneurs featured at the last day of REE conference at Shangrila Hotel in Bangkok today:

2. Creative Industry by Ruttikorn Vuttikorn, Design Director of Club Creative Company ruttikorn-vuttikorn-toy-designer-with.a mission
3. Social Entrepreneurship - Health Care by Dr. Kongkiat, Director of Bangkok Phuket Hospital, an Ashoka fellow. dr-kongkiat-ketpetch
What is remarkable about the workof these social entrepreneurs is the deep impact they made on the Thai society and economic development, and all done in spirit of love of country and the King.
A. DTAC as it pursued "Do Good Deeds Everyday," (We cannot do everything) in line with the Kings vision of economic sustainability in Thailand.

2. Leadership development - selected 999 graduates for scholarship. About half of that have all ready graduated and returned to their communities to lead their communities out of their difficulties
3. Batteries for life - has colleccted l00t batteries for recycling, reuse etc.
4. Reforestation projects - has planted over l million trees
How we wish our telecon giants were into these impactful projects. for nation building and poverty alleviation.
