"The Usual Tepid Reply....from a Govt Bureaucat?
The AGSB Advantage
I just read from Boo Chancos column in Philstar about a conference that involved l00 Japanese companies, l00 Japanese businessmen sponsored by JETRO. The head of Phil. Economic Cooperation Committee, Mr. Tsujo, said that there are many Japanese companies willing to invest in the country provided the following are addressed: power costs, income taxation, logistics, and law and order.
We should appreciate this statement in the light of disaster that hit Japan: tsunami and the supply chain in Thailand. Really they are looking for nearby alternative disaster relocation. And the govt bureacrat who was there gave the usual tepid reply," Well we will look into that...."
Sayang... we are always looking and doing nothing....
Baka its better to say next time," We will do something about that soon..." Promise
