Some Advice on Corporate Intramurals

Our generation needs an ENTREPRENEURIAL REVOLUTION.

I was asked for advice by a group of MDs who have a strong business in medical diagnostics. They are planning to put a an ambulatory center very soon. They are being besieged by a group putting a hospital in a nearby town, and another in another nearby town catchment area.

Just last week, they learned that a colleague in their group is breaking away and putting up her own hospital.

What advice can you give? What do you think?

Here is the advice I gave:

l. As for the colleague who is going on her own, I reminded the MD I was advising the 3 fold corporate duties: obedience, diligence and loyalty. Apparently there is a malfeasance on the breakaway colleague that must be dealt with squarely.

2. Since there is a threat (namely the new hospital will put up its own diagnostics)

l. It is time to upgrade and differentiate the present diagnostic equipment and facilities;
2. Link up with new players.

3. Link with NKTI which had advanced diagnostics to piggy back on their advantage.

Hmm what do you think? Good enough?
