Our generation needs an ENTREPRENEURIAL REVOLUTION.
A recent article at Manila Bulletin, lists the population of the world last Oct 3l, 20ll at 6,986,95l,000. l8% of the population or l,24l,5800 comes from the developed countries, but 82% or 5,745,37l,000 comes from LDC (less developed countries)
How fast does our world population grow:
138,558,000 are born every year; that is 382,351 per day, or 266 per minute.
Death rate is 56,6ll,000 per year, l55,099 per day; l08 per minute. Whew. So some people will never see the light of the day tomorrow. Really, we have to be thankful that we are alive today.
The world population grew by leaps and bounds (geometric? exponential?) One billion population was reached at the end of l9th century; but by the end of 2000, it is 2 billion. By 2100, the world population is expected to reach l0B if nothing is done to manage it.
What are the implications of this rapid world population growth: to economy, food security, business, to entrepreneurship
