Our Service to Tourists is better; We Should be Proud of Ourselves!!!

Our generation needs an ENTREPRENEURIAL REVOLUTION.

I just arrived from a trip of a lifettime yesterday. After 20 years, I was able to travel with my family again. We went to a famous tourist destination and these were the things that pissed me off:

l. The hotel room was very small maybe some l5 sm only and very cramped (Well the hotel was located in maybe just 500 sm property)

2. The free breakfast was the same for two days and they just maybe had about l0 selection. (The Sarabia and other provincial hotels free breakfast are much much better)

3. We lost some items in the hotel room. Some petty thefts that you will not dare report like cosmetics and food stuff.

4. The free city tour was just well a city tour. We saw much better things in our walk tour. It was more of promo for the friends of the tour guide and the driver. We went to unknown places and they sold not so good stuff;

5. There was not service: pick your own luggage etc. And the service crews cursedsHow could they and we saved for years just to be cursed?

We should be proud of our courtesy, hospitality, warmth, and our efforts in building tourism. Our destinations are bargain and we have good service. There is much to see in the Philippines. Let us visit Philippines first (It is good I have done that) But that place is famous destinations for many Filipinos.

Their advantage is that they spent zillions on their roadworks and airport terminal and transportation infrastucture. That would just seem to be our only disadvantage. But we would catch up.

The guide said that in their dialect, thank you is Onggoy (I do not know whether he was pulling our legs; because he did that a lot of times. He said we would visit a famous actor owned factory. We went to a store; I did not see a connection with the actorexcept the initials)

That is Onggoy for us.
