US's SSS funds to run dry 3 years Earlier than Predicted

Promoting Entrepreneurial Revolution

Adding to the woes of USA retirees (see previous post on impending US Financial Doomsday prediction by Weiss) is the prediction by the SSS trustees that the funds of the system would run dry in 2033. (for the retirement);  for the disability, the funds will be gone by 20l6.

The US congress must address this issue for the long term peace in order in US;   there may be protests among the SSS members.

l.  How did this happen?

2.  What do you propose as a solution?

       l.  Raise taxes (who can pay taxes in a period of unemployment)?

       2.  Print more money (and fuel more inflation?)

       3.  Borrow more money from foreigners (but lenders are ready to revolt)

       4.  Will the US govt continue to pay SSS if the funds run out (remember there are no actual funds for SSS as of now;  US govt borrows money to pay for SSS as of now)

3.  What are other alternatives?

4.  Will this affect PHL (relatives of Fil Ams in the PHL)

SSS funds to Run Dry in 2033 for retirement, 2016 for disability
