  • 3 steps to selling more without getting pushy
You don't have to be pushy to increase sales, writes marketing expert Jamillah Warner. "When you're selling services you have to turn them into items that feel as concrete as walking into the grocery store and picking up a loaf of bread," writes Warner, marketing coordinator at Nobuko Solutions. • Drawing the line between friendly chatter and damaging discussions
If your staff spends too much time talking about current events, you can suggest they postpone their conversations until break time, but don't overreact, Joyce M. Rosenberg writes. "Allowing your staff to socialize on the job is a morale builder and, in the end, helps them work better together." Political discussions can be especially tricky to handle, so it's important to learn the laws governing political expression in your state, she cautions. • Would your company's logo look better in Comic Sans?
Design aficionados love to hate the Comic Sans typeface, but that hasn't stopped French design studio Cephalization from launching a Tumblr page with Comic Sans versions of iconic logos including the Disney signature logo, McDonald's Golden Arches and Microsoft's blue screen of death.
