Can Religious Fervor Become Entrepreneurial (or even Civic) Passion?

An Ateneo Graduate School of Business Advantage

Today will be the procession for the Black Nazerene, Patron Saint of Quiapo Manila.  As usual, the attendees and the devotees will be in hundred of thousands:   men and women clawing their way just to be near the image of the Black Nazarene.  There will be injuries and even deaths, but the fervor and the zeal bordering on fanaticism will be there.

If and only, and we wish that this fervor be transformed into passion to:

l.  Personal mastery;

2.  Cleanliness;

3.  Changing and/or removing bad habits;

4.  Improving public order;

5.  Lessening our vice (there will be more vice because of "vice" ganda?)

6.  Putting up more enterprises:

7.  Doing good for others;

8.  Lessening venom and anger in our politics

9.  Being more positive

l0.  Focusing on opportunities
