I just got a feed from Newsmax regarding a video inteview of a noted economist in the US. This is a bit scary and paints a real picture of the financial status of US. There is a staggering level of debt; the balloon has burst for stock and housing market. USA has been used for easy money. Stock market prices (or even housing prices) does not keep pace with the real income of Americans.
There are advices on how to deal, and there is even a free book. I hope it can help you appreciate the financial meltdown in USA, and be better prepared.
