Business / Enterprise Experience:

After college graduation, I franchised a food cart business, Authentic Japanese Corn, for a year (July 2006 – July 2007). I situated the cart first in Metropoint Mall, EDSA then at Times Plaza, UN Ave. Taft, Manila .
Business Plan Topic in Mind:
A dessert / "all sweets" bar that offers spa services as well.

1.  Notable Achievement/s.

As I was excited to handle my own business right after graduation, I was able to manage and oversee a small franchised business. I learned to handle personnel management and inventories as well as properly deal with franchisers. Since I am not yet earning much, I opted to enter the corporate world during the same time I am handling the business. After a year, I had to cease the food cart business as I was having a hard time covering for the rent expense, so I focused on banking.

In my 5 years experience in banking, one of my notable achievements is I am the only Junior Officer under the Commercial Banking Group who was given clearance and was recommended to present credit proposals for approval of loans of top corporations to the Credit Committee and the Executive Committee.

2.  Failures (if any?)

There was an instant at work wherein I failed to clarify with my boss the required data needed from the client. Hence, it turned out that the data presented to the Team Head which I got was the wrong one. So it resulted to overexposure of the account.

However, I suddenly thought of the following and decided to include as this is a part of my personal data anyway :)
§         I failed to try drugs
§         I failed to get into smoking, drinking and partying hard
§         I failed to cut more than one class back in college. And none in post grad.

3.  Dark secrets, if any:
-

4.  SELF ANALYSIS (WHERE AM I NOW?) (Related to Entrepreneurship)

STRENGTHS
WEAKNESSES
HABITS
I do not cram.
I am always organized.
I plan.
I multi-task.

When I know that I have more than enough time, I tend to do first the things that are less important.
ATTITUDE
I don't like pending to-do's.
I always find time for every thing I want to do.
I know my priorities.
I am goal-oriented.
I value people than work.

I can get intimidated by complicated tasks.
I find it hard / it takes time for me to decide over certain things.
I need affirmation from other trusted people when making decisions.
SKILLS
I am able to deal with different kinds of people based on their personalities.
I have an eye for details.
I am a fast learner.

I still lack people skills.
My tone of voice is sometimes misunderstood as too bossy or demanding.
KNOWLEDGE
Financial and Credit Analysis.
I know how to assess companies in terms of the industry, technical & market aspects and the credit behavior since I handle corporate accounts at work. Thus, if I get to have my own business, I have an idea on the dealings with other enterprises.
I got to learn on how to go about with the Financial, HR, Marketing and Operations aspects of a business back in college as we constructed a simulated company as our thesis.
I seldom read on current events.

5.  WHERE AM I GOING?

a. Personal Vision Statement:

I will continue to work with integrity and high level of determination.
