Prof Jorge was included in the delegation who attended the PACIBER (Pacific Asia Consortium for International Business Education and Research) in Seoul Korea, held from July l to 4, 200l. The Ateneo delegation was headed by Prof. Ely Aurellado, Prof. Tony del Carmen, who heads the MBE ;program at Ateneo and yours truly. Ateneo attended the other PACIBER meetings in the past: Dean Albert and Prof. Winnie Constantino. The Theme of the Conference is "The Transformed Global Economy" with Korea as the example.There were 3l participants coming from US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, and Colombia (yes the source of prohibited substances before in the US). Most of the delegates were either deans, or their assistants or faculty head. The other member of team Philippines was Dr. Arnel Onesimo Uy, the Associate Dean for Business at De La Salle University.
