We Treasure What we Measure (or the other Way Around "We Measure what we Treasure

In our study for faculty development, what was often repeated is we Measure What we Treasure (we assess what is valuable for the student or the university.) We call this the Graduation Outcome (what is desired for the students when they graduate.)  We can borrow the phrase and maybe say we Tweet (blog) what we Treasure? We write what we treasure?  We paint/make sculpture enshrine in art what is valuable (as the hunting people drew pictures of animals that they hunted on cave walls)

In social media:  in tweets, is this is true?  If that were the case, what we treasure is gewgaws and trivia? Maybe
