Entrepreneur's Love of Country and Love of Creator

There is something and moving about the lives of entrepreneurs.  At least in the Philppine setting.  See through their efforts, life has improved tremendously in the country.  The taipans maybe from other country of origin; but they having stayed and contributing tremendously for the development of the country and lives of our people, strongly suggest that there is love of country and love of God.  They could have done their thing in their own country or moved their operations elsewhere. But they bet their money at the time when dark clouds were looming at the horizon in Phil,.economy.  Henry Sy put up additional malls when coup were very frequent, or new malls at the height of Phil. crisis.

JG summit bet on the Digitel backbone and Sun Cellular even though they continued to bleed, because he believed in the future of the country.  He believed in the Phil and believed in God.  JG invested in AdeMUs school of business which set him back by a hundred million.

This is a far cry from our intellectuals and other OFW who troop to foreign countries to find a better future (for our country or for themselves?) Maybe they become returnee entrepreneur. Maybe as they send their dollars back to the Phil, they are not going to consume it (which eventually outflows from the country) but spend wisely to invest in the economy/capital goods, development.

So whenever I start my class in entrepreneurship, the opening song is "Sa iyo Lamang " to lead students to think of entrepreneurship as a vocation:  as love of God (hopefully it does?)
